Dear Governor Elect Kitui County,Hon Charity Kaluki Ngilu. First & foremost i want to congratulate you for clinching the hotly contested Gubernatorial Seat in Kitui County. The people of Kitui have faith in you and hence chose & entrusted with resources of their county. It may be early to highlight what am about to but since you are familiar with the county allow me to. All through your campaigns, water problem  was one of the key issues you promised to address. For many years people of Kitui have suffered in the hands of poor leadership; many promises but none implemented. We believe in you  Mama &  in the next five years, hope our children & mothers will not be trekking for 30 kilometers in search for water.  Kitui County  will be a place  with accessible clean water & passable Roads. Kitui residents have on  repeated occasions been attacked by bandits from neighboring county, Tana River. These attacks can be dated back in 1990s and many people have lost lives, livestock stolen and other heinous acts. Captioned pictures and video is just a glimpse of what these residents in Endau and environs and Mwingi go through every other time. Residents think that both county and national governments have put little weight on the matter and call upon authorities to action. Unconfirmed reports have it that yesterday someone was shot at Mithumulani.
